Is the festival free?
Petherton Folk Fest is completely free to all visitors but we could not continue without your kind donations, so please give anything you can afford
Do you take card payments?
Whilst we hope to have a card reader at the information point in 2024 we largely rely on cash donations please. Look out for our lovely volunteers wielding orange collection buckets. Cash points are available outside Holm Restaurant and in the Co-op.
Where is the main information point?
Our information tent is in the main market square opposite the main stage where you can buy programmes and raffle tickets.
Is parking free?
Parking in the village is free – there are 2 hour restriction zones in James St. and there will be road closures around the market square.
South Petherton is quite a small village so we ask you to please park considerately and not block driveways or main routes in and out of the village. This year we hope to have some extra parking spaces - more info to follow.
Do you Recycle?
This year, you will see big recycling bins in the market square. Plus there are recycling bins at the church. We aim to recycle as much as possible but if you can take any rubbish home with you, we would be very grateful.
First Aid?
The first aid point will be located beside the Blake Hall entrance.
Defibrillators are located outside the Blake Hall and at the David's Hall
For any health and safety concerns please contact the information desk located outside the Blake Hall, in the Market Square (see map)
Toilets?
Public toilets are available at the Blake Hall and the David Hall (see map)
Accessibility?
The two toilet locations (David Hall and Blake Hall) have disability access.
Wheel chair access is available for the David Hall, the Church and to the open air stage in the Market Square. Stairlift access to the first floor of the Blake Hall is also available.
Blue badge parking spaces are available at the main parking site, by the David Hall, next to the Co-Op
Finally – South Petherton is a lovely village with an array of independent shops, pubs and eateries. Please do enjoy and support our local businesses while you are visiting the festival. Have a super day.
